I made my high school's elite XC running group.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Finish my 5K races in under 25 minutes, but end my season doing sub 7's (21 minute finish).

Long-Term Running Goals:

I would like to do a triatholon one day, the Halloween Half Marathon and maybe run at least one marathon.

I ran the first mile, goofing off with my friend Amy. Then my mom found me goofing off at the first mile marker and pushed me ahead of amy saying she would stay benind.  I ran the rest of the race closer to my "race" pace. 10:57/7:40/8:30 (something like that, I only had a watch to keep the splits).
